My work centers on connecting people to the natural world, with a focus on reading the tracks and sign of wildlife activity all around us. Each track or sign we recognize adds to our fluency in reading the landscape, opening up the possibilities to build relationship and interpret the stories of our wild animal neighbors.

 

While tracking is a rewarding practice and pastime in and of itself, it also opens a door to applications that include non-invasive monitoring of wildlife, delineation of wildlife corridors and management for habitat connectivity.
